I’ve been into the Digital Marketing field since 2014. I have lots of websites related to the eCommerce niche and many other micro niches. I also run an eCommerce brand myself.
I found that all big companies are give price match guarantees to customers, but don’t dive into the process of claiming that guarantee or detail on the program. so, I decided to make a site on this topic in order to make it easy for customers to find this information.
How much time does it take to run the business, who else is needed on the team, and what, if anything, is automated?
For this website we took a month of content writing and for SEO and then drip fed that content for a few months. I have 6 people working with me for blogging and on the team we have content writers and copywriters, SEO experts and WordPress developers. The most time consuming stuff we did on this site is SEO, we have spent 5 hrs a week doing SEO on this site. That’s why the ranking position stays strong.
Seeing as this content is based on eCommerce / shopping, have you considered or tried to integrate affiliate marketing into the revenue model?
No, I have not tried affiliate sales, but I have optimized Adsense earnings through ezoic. This can be a major opportunity for a new owner to come along and increase the earnings exponentially.
What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form?
We have created 70 articles and there are no new articles required for this niche. But, SEO wise drip feeds need to continue so that revenue can increase more as ranking improves.
Can you list a few opportunities for a potential new owner to continue growing the business?
As 92% of the traffic stems from the USA, the opportunities are limitless. The buyer can do following things to generate more revenue.
- CPA related email submit offers or zip submit location wise is good.
- Amazon affiliate code placement so it will show retargeting products and you’ll get commissions.
- SEO drip feeding. As many keywords are on the 1st page but not on the top.
